

Born March 31, 1948 in Beloit, Kansas, he was a graduate of Fountain Ft. Carson High School, Class of 1966. Thomas joined the U.S. Marine Corps that same year and was assigned stations in California, Hawaii and Okinawa. He proudly served his country during the war in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1969 and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was a Licensed Electrician, having served his apprenticeship from September 1969 through June of 1974. He worked all over the U.S., including Alaska, as well as Canada and Mexico. His hobbies included riding with a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Club, Bowling, Country Dancing and listening to “Oldies” music.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He is survived by 3 children, Troy, Nickie and Thomas, Jr.; 3 siblings, Beverly Smith, Larry L. Ridenour, Sr. and Linda Sue Ridenour, as well as by several Nieces and Nephews.
Memorial services will be Held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors - 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs. Private inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
