It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing on of our beloved husband, brother, brother-in-law, Uncle and friend Thomas Orlin Voltz. Tom came into the world on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1959 in Millersburg, Ohio. He graduated with his Associate’s Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology from Palm Beach Junior College, Lake Worth, Florida. He spent several years employed as a dental lab technician, well respected in his community.
Tom was born with Spina Bifida. He was an avid athlete, playing wheelchair basketball, racing and olympics. He enjoyed anything to do with the water including scuba diving, kayaking, fishing and sailing. Tom loved coaching basketball, softball and little league baseball. He loved his Steelers!
Quick witted and kind, full of spirit and full of life, he loved a joke and a cigar smoke, sipping good whiskey and watching nature on his patio “Man-cave”.
Tom lived more in his precious 57 years than most could live in 100!
Tom was predeceased 2 months prior to his passing by his beloved father Walter Orlin Voltz. He is survived by his adoring of nearly 35 years, Toni Lynn, his precious mother Bonnie, Sister Cindy (and husband Daniel) and brother Ed (and wife Denise Voltz) Tom also leaves his loving nieces and nephews, Chris, Joey, Anthony, Vanessa, Nicole and Ashley and several grand-nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Tom strength courage and love of life will continue to inspire us – we who were blessed to share our lives with him!
Run with wolves, Sweet Tom!
