Born on August 5, 1967, in San Antonio, Texas, Tim was the son of Earl and Judy (Virruso) Mummert. He devoted over 30 years to the concrete and construction industry. He was a skilled concrete finisher who took great pride in the quality of his work and craftmanship. Tim was a do-it-all kind of guy that had a knack for figuring things out—he could fix, build, or solve just about anything.
A devoted husband, father and grandpa, his heart belonged entirely to his family. He said he found his purpose in his family. He dedicated his life to and cherished his family above all else. He had a deep affection for his animals, finding joy in simple moments and loved his Harley. He believed that four wheels move the body but two wheels move the soul. His passion for his motorcycle and the open road was like his second home, and on two wheels he found his balance.
Tim is preceded in death by his mother Judith Marie Virruso. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Mummert; sons Joshua Mummert (wife Rebecca), Zachary Mummert, and Tim Lujuan; his father, Earl Mummert Jr.; his brother, Mark Mummert; and seven grandchildren.
Though his earthly journey has ended, Tim’s spirit will continue to ride on. Gone from our sight, but his love and memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11:00am at Memorial Gardens, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910
