Tim was born in Amsterdam, New York in 1946 to Leon and Wilhelmine. He earned his electrical engineering degree from Union College before marrying his beloved wife Diana. He went on to complete his master’s degree in engineering management at Northeastern University. Tim became the site lead for Aeronautical Radio, Inc. in Colorado Springs. The establishment of his engineering consulting firm Grey Bear Research was the capstone of his career. After retiring, he was fond of spending time at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, enjoying performances at Colorado College, and volunteering at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. He also loved partaking in activities that took him into the beautiful surrounding foothills.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by Diana, his children Jason Rupinski (Sarah) and Nicole Garver, and his granddaughter McKayla.
