It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear friend, Ti Mix.

Mark and I have known Ti since 1971, when we met in Schwabach, West Germany. At the time, I worked at the Army Service Club where Ti was stationed. I was a recreational director, and Ti, an enlisted man, spent many of his off-duty hours at the club. He could play a mean game of pool and ping pong, and his competitive spirit and sense of humor were evident even then.

Those years were filled with unforgettable memories. Ti often traveled with Mark and me on weekend ski trips to Berchtesgaden and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We also shared many sightseeing adventures, including visits to Salzburg and, of course, The Sound of Music tour—experiences that still bring smiles to our faces today.

After our civilian tour of duty ended and we returned to the United States, our friendship continued. We visited Ti in Colorado Springs, along with German friends we had met in Nürnberg and of course visits to his favorite Pikes Peak. Over the years, Ti—and sometimes Steven—visited us in our home in Salem, Oregon, keeping our bond strong across time and distance.

Ti fought bravely against this horrible disease, showing strength and determination every step of the way. We are so proud of Steven for always being by his side, a constant source of love and support.

We will always cherish our visits, emails, and text messages—sharing thoughts about life, football games, and whatever else caught our fancy. Those conversations meant more to us than words can express.
Ti, our dear friend of over 54 years, will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Although she was not my birth mother and you Ti are not my true Uncle neither of you ever treated me with anything but Love. Now you are together and will be missed by all of us left behind. I’ll cherish all the memories especially recent game nights.

I will always remember his beautiful smile, his beautiful soul, his kindness, thoughtfulness and strength. His presence touched many lives and I am thankful i can say he was my friend. Ti you will be missed and always remembered.

Ti was an amazing uncle  always an inspiration to me kind and funny personality very strong and energetic  he will be missed and not forgotten so many great memories at family gatherings.

Very much we thank you Lord for Ti. He blessed our Family with dignity & grace. Now in our Heavenly Father's arm's onto Eternity. Love you Ti , Christina♡

Ti was a wonderful person ,very loving and he will be deeply missed.  He always had a smile on his face and loved his family dearly.  I have a lot of memories of Ti, from Christmases at the house in monument to dining out and everything in between.  
 May he rest in peace ❤️.
