After graduating high school in Michigan, he
served in the United States Air Force for 20
years in the field of communications.
After serving in the military, Wayne received training from the Computer Sciences Corporation
and worked in the field of Software Engineering.
Wayne married Vicky LaRae Mattox on Septem-ber 8, 1985, resulting in 38 years of marriage.
Wayne was preceeded in death by his mother, Goldie Jones, and his father, Joseph (Doris)
Sheridan. He is survived by his wife, Vicky; his son, Phillip (Marianne) Sheridan; grandchildren,
Scotti, Kaydance, Hunter, Ryan, Jeffrie, and Cheyanne. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Ferguson, Wendy (Larry) Bosely, Jason (Cheryl) Sheridan, Jeffery (Darlene) Sheridan, and
numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne’s final resting place will be Pikes Peak
National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be
