

Bill was born August 5th, 1947 in Pueblo, Colorado to Alton and Eileen Yarberry. He was raised on the East Side of Pueblo and attended East High School and later, Southern Colorado State College, where he developed an interest in accounting and entrepreneurship. In the 7th grade, Bill met and fell head-over-heels for the love of his life, Penny.
In 1976, Bill founded Sentry Siren, where he would work until retiring in 2024. Throughout his career, Bill created a corporate culture focused on mutual love and respect and viewed his colleagues as members of his family. He was so proud of his company and how the products he created saved lives around the world.
Bill is survived by his wife Penny, and their only son Scott (Mia). Two grandchildren, Brooke and Dylan (Brockel), Sisters, Peggy and Nancy (Russ), his Elkhound Kenai, and many cousins. Bill was a devoted father and cherished every moment spent with his family. Bill had a passion for golf, fishing, work, and John Deere equipment. Bill will be remembered for his giving nature, his deep love for family and the openness of his heart.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 11:00 am at The Swan Law Funeral Home (501 North Cascade Avenue) in Colorado Springs. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Bill's life.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, deep love for family, and strength of character will continue to inspire us all. There will never be a day when his name is not spoken.
Rest in peace, Dad, you did it.
