Agustin, known as El Guty to many, moved to Tijuana at and early age and met the love of his life, María Andrea when they were just 5 years old, they were childhood sweethearts! They went on to have 4 boys; Daniel, Esteban, Ernest, and Christopher. They were married for 37 years until his wife was called to heaven first in 2007.
Agustin was predeceased by his parents Agustin Lopez & Maria Del Refugio Lopez and his wife, María Andrea Lopez . He is survived by his 4 boys, 6 grandsons (Daniel Jr, Gabriel, Nicolas, Joseph, Sebastian, and Joseph), and 7 granddaughters (Damaris, Bethel, Suzie, Abigail, Isis, Olivia, and Gema), and 5 great grandchildren (Elliot, Everly, Noah, Jolene, and Andrew).
Services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park on January 5th from 5-9 pm (vigil service). We’ll celebrate his mass on January 6th at 10:00 am at All Souls Mausoleum and will be laid to rest with his wife at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery immediately following the mass.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to St. Bernadine’s Hospital in honor of Agustin Lopez. The family is overwhelmed by the love and support received during this difficult moment and requests prayers for their loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
