Alice Rose Gutierrez, 77 years old of Highland, California, passed away at her home on June 23, 2015. She was born on August 14, 1937 in Los Angeles, California to Alfonso and Annie Valdez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Gutierrez and son Alfred Benzor. She survived by her children, Michael Lee Benzor, Katherine Monte, Jamie Benzor, Carmen Duata, and Matthew William Benzor. Her 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Also, her sisters, Mary Ann Barraza and Vivian Yglesias.
Alice was a nurse for over 40 years.
Visitation will be on July 6, 2015, from 10 am - 12 noon, followed by Funeral Service 12 - 2pm, both at Church of the Valley, 26597 Baseline St, Highland, California.
Graveside Service, 3 pm, at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Flowers may be sent to Montecito Mortuary.
A reception will follow the burial at Alice's home, East Highland Ranch, 29411 Baseline St., Highland, California.
Alice was a beautiful extension of the love of God. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
