She attended Wilson Elementary School, Grand Terrace Junior High, Colton Junior High, and graduated from Colton High School in 1976. In 1976 she also met and began dating Robert Castillo. They married in 1979. They had 3 sons together. Eric born 1981, Aaron born 1982, and Derek born 1983. Barbara worked at several banks before working for Arrowhead Medical Center, retiring in 2008. Her favorite activities were cooking for her family and going to casinos. She loved her family very much.
Sadly, Barbara passed away on 10/7/2018. She is survived by her deeply loving husband Robert. Her sons Eric, Aaron and Derek. Grandchildren Derron, Savannah, Nautica, Damon, Nathaniel, and Zoee. All of whom she spoiled every chance she got. Parents, Braudio and Lucy Lopez, brother Robert Lopez and sister in law Rosemary Lopez. She had several in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also a friend to many. She was loved by those who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Her services will be held on 10/22/2018 at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA at 9:45 a.m.
