

Barbara Ann Rouch, born on February 19, 1947, in West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 78. Barbara was a cherished, devoted, faithful, and kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of many. She resided in Moreno Valley, California.
Barbara was born to her parents Leroy Clayton Gray and Edith Belle Walker. Her father passed away before she was born in 1946, and she was raised by her mother, brother; Leroy Gray and later her stepfather, Carson Leonard Gray. The family moved to Great Falls, Montana, during her early years.
Barbara graduated from Great Falls High School in 1965. She then attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, where she met her first husband Earl E. Martin. They had two children, Navar and Tasha. In 1974 she moved to Kalispell, Mt, with her children, where she married Larry Swift in 1976 and they moved to Marion, Mt. She was very active in the local church and she demonstrated to her children the forgiveness and love of God as well as how to see the good in people. She taught them many things about being self-sufficient, such as raising dairy goats, gardening, hunting, fishing, cooking, baking and canning.
In 1985 she moved to Kalispell, Mt with her children after separating from her husband. There she began her studies to become a teacher at FVCC. In 1987 she moved to Riverside, Ca. with her daughter. There she finished her teaching certification. She then pursued a career as a special education teacher for the Moreno Valley Unified School District and retired in 2014, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and compassion.
In 1989, she met Richard Rouch, and they married in 1992. She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren, whom she adored. Barbara loved traveling to Montana every year and enjoyed visiting the mountains in California, which reminded her of her beloved Montana.
She is survived by her husband Richard Rouch, her son Navar Swift, her daughter Tasha Swift Runyan, her stepson Ronald Rouch and grandchildren: Arianna, Nathan, Mason, Gage and Skyler.
A funeral service will be held at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324, on December 29, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. This will be followed by a committal service at Montecito Memorial Park from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to help with funeral expenses.
