Still so many years and yet it seems like just yesterday. God bless all of our family and friends who loved my mom. She was truly and extraordinary woman. Thank you again for your kind and beautiful thoughts.  Miss her dearly.

I was so deeply saddened to hear of Carmen's passing.  I had not seen her for a very long while, although most recently she had been in my mind.  I know that most recently she had been ailing.  Indeed, ever since David's passing, she has been very lonely, and missed him terribly.

Last week, during the evening hours, all of a sudden her face flashed before me.  I wanted to call her at home then, but it was after 9:30 p.m. and I did not feel that was an adequate hour to call and decided to wait until the next day to  call her.  One thing lead to another and I failed to call.  When I saw the Obit in the paper a couple of days ago, I then wondered if when her image appeared before me, if that was not the time she passed on.  

Carmen was such a joy to be around with.  She generally had a smile on her face.  Back in the early 50's, when she was dating her David, I too was dating my husband, who happened to live in Chino, while Carmen lived in Ontario. We generally saw one another at the dances.  Now her David has come to take her home where they will again be dancing their feet off in heaven.

May you find solace in knowing that both David and Carmen were greatly loved by their many friends.  May they both rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon them.  Please accept my very deepest condolences.  Both David and Carmen will be greatly missed and not forgotten.

Just hearing her name brings back wonderful memories of my child hood. She is my God mother and even though I haven't spoken to her in many years I have thought of her often. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Debby, Jeff and Randy.

Even at our ages it is shocking and sad to hear of a friend passing. Having shared a backyard fence with all of you for 20 years, a late night call to your mom, when I thought I was having a heart attack, are just a couple memories. I know you have so many good memories of your own.  Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending my love to each of you.

Here's to my second Mom, although I know I'm not the only one able to say that.  I will always remember her dancing with David.  She will be missed.  All my love to you Deb, Jeff, and Randy.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family regarding the passing of Carmen.  What a beautiful, gracious, poised woman.   She always made us feel so welcomed and comfortable in her home and with her family.  Her love for her family and husband was inspiring.  We will remember her being beautiful both inside and out and with a smile on her face and a song in her heart.  She and her beloved David are once again united.
