Our dearest Mom, Chiayu Marianne Chiang, went to sleep in Jesus without pain, surrounded by her family, reading her favorite Bible verses, singing her beloved hymns, and giving her godly wisdom, love and smiles to all those around her.
Mom was baptized as a Seventh-Day Adventist Christian July 2, 2022, one of the happiest days of her life. As a born-again Christian for many years prior, Mom lived a life of faith and radiated the joy of Jesus, bringing others in her community to Christ. She blessed so many by her positivity, and taught the power of forgiveness. Mom's life exemplified her motto of: Peace, Harmony, Teamwork.
Mom had a full and extraordinary life. She was born in Suzhou, China, to her father Gi Ting Sue and her mother Su Fang Chiang. Since Mom was a descendant of Chiang Kai-Shek, she had to escape during the communist takeover, fleeing to Taiwan and eventually immigrating to the United States.
Her career was broad and extensive, from being a diamond consultant, model, real estate investor, and even a joint owner of multiple companies. Mom had a passion for helping others and was a prominent leader in many community groups. She would organize fundraising events for the international and Chinese community, as well as supporting charities for children and women. Mom truly showed Christ's love and compassion for the less fortunate.
She is survived by her two sons Tim and Stephen, one daughter Diana, and countless grandchildren both family and in the faith. Stephen & wife Allana Riesenberger with her grandchildren Zoie, Zachary, Joseph & Jakob Riesenberger. Tim & wife Ashley Riesenberger. And daughter Diana Riesenberger.
