Clyde Barrow Thompson Sr. of Grand Terrace, California passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 unexpectedly at the age of 90. They were born on December 7, 1933 in Madill, Oklahoma where they grew up on the family farm.
He owned a General Contracting Company until he retired at the age of 71.
Clyde found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, boating and off roading in his dune buggy. He loved traveling in his motorhome across the country visiting family and meeting new friends.
They are preceded in death by their parents John Ira Thompson and Pearl Emma Thompson (Stanley) also by his favorite brother Joe L. Thompson and other brothers and sisters.
He is survived by Maya G. Thompson, Gary Thompson, Clyde B Thompson Jr, (Jennifer), Tammala P. Thompson, (Mark), Kimberly A. Rentz, (Van), Sandy Brake, Lori Marquez, (David), Dianna Housley, (Rick), Wess Lassiter. He and Maya had 21 grandkids and 26 great grandkids.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial at Grand View Baptist Church on Monday, September 16 at 1:00 pm at 22755 Vista Grande Way East. Grand Terrace, 92313. Food and refreshments to follow Memorial service.
