Cynthia RIP May The Lord bring you peace and rest of your illness, may your family find comfort in the days ahead.

To our Wilma" that was our nickname for Cynthia , her brother Gilbert had nicknamed her Wilma and it stuck ... My name is Chris myself and my best friend Johnny had been of service to the family for many years as there hairstylist ! We had meet Gil and Joann Botello in the early eighties ! Yes we truly enjoyed the immediate family ,cousins , and there two of Joann's sister Cecelia and Margret  . Myself and Jon are truly blessed to have know the family there sister Cynthia was a hard worker and boy could she cook , but I think she got that from her mama but as Cynthia,s journey here on earth has come to an end she will never be forgotten , as she makes her journey to be with our lord and savior ! Johnny and myself send out a special prayer for her son Ruben her brothers  Rudy, Gilbert, and Joseph and her beautiful sister Christina love you (POOH) May God bless each and everyone of you in this time of need . Cynthia was more than family. She was the bow that brought us all together. I felt like we had a connection in many ways. We all knew that she had been through some tough times, but we all know that's she is in a place of harmony now. I will always remember the time when we went to feed the ducks at the VA. Dear Family of Cynthia,
My heart is with you and I'm sad with you, but joyous knowing that Cynthia is no longer in pain, she's with our Father, she's probably more with you now than in the recent past.  I implore you to watch for almost inconceivable signs,listen with your heart as the mind is easily confused. I suggest this as my dad had fun with us after his passing and a dear friend told me of his experience as Jesus escorted him through -- to the light. The youngest family members may be first to experience her.  
My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you.  May God Bless all of you with peace and comfort and may he find you in his mercy.  God Bless.

To The family of Cynthia she was such a beautiful person I knew her because of my sister Mina as Mina and Debbie were good friends my sister took it so hard when Debbie went home and now Cynthia Debbie and Mina are together and they are close to us. Three years ago when I lost my husband Cynthia came to my house and gave me comfort she was here for all his dedication's and I loved her for that because she was a friend, just she was a friend to my only sister Carmen. Cynthia would say when your ready Marie I want to take you the post but we never did go and I am so sorry Ruben for the loss of your Mother.

My dear friend, I feel your loss  so deeply and am so sorry you will no longer be with us.  Although I am filled with deep sadness I am comforted to know that you left this world in the peace of our Lord and that you were blessed with a such a wonderful sister and loving family and friends.  Cynthia, I will remember you and pray for you always and hope that God will give your family many blessings and that through His grace  they will get through this difficult time.  God Bless You always dear Cynthia.

My Sister, My Friend – You promised me when we talked on the phone on the afternoon of June 8th and told me you didn't feel well.  I spoke to the doctor to examine you, both the doctor and the nurse assured me that you were fine but seemed very anxious.  So I called right back like I said I would to assure you that you were fine and told you what the doctor and nurse told me.  I asked you to be strong and not to give up because you were my only sister and it would be hard for me not to have you in my life. I asked you to promise me you would not give up and you asked me to stop crying.  And “You Promised” you would never give up!  I'm so sad, mad, & lost with out you now.  I can't believe within 15 min's  “You Promised” you would never give up, and now your gone!  I asked God why, why, why did you take my only sister away from me?  Suddenly I realized because of my strong faith, belief, and love for God you did sis; keep what “You Promised” me, not to give up! Instead God came to you and “You Promised” God to let go and come with him to be at peace!  Until we meet again I know you are laughing, dancing, listening to music and “Happy again” “I Promise” when I hear God's call we will be together!  Eternal rest unto my sister Cynthia O lord and let your perpetual light shine upon her and all the faithfully departed through thy mercy O God rest in peace my sissy! My “Heart felt” with sorrow.

It is with loving thoughts that I send these words, to the entire family but especially Ruben. You do not know me well but, I know you knew of me. My name is Carla Rodriguez and I had the pleasure of knowing your mom and the family! I knew Cynthia loved the music and songs I sang! That meant the world to me! I totally respected your mother because she was so respectful of herself! She was the type of person that was a friend no matter how much time has passed the greeting was still there and the smile was the same! 
I thank the creator for blessing my path with Cynthia and I know her love will always remain in your heart!

Sis - I miss you so much!!  Spending the last year and a half with you has meant the world to me.  I will cherish all the memories we created, all the laughs we shared and all burritos we ate. I love you!! Be at peace Sister.

My entire childhood years were on Valley Street. Debbie, Rudy and Cynthia were family to me.  I loved both Debbie and Cynthia like sisters. Cynthia and I kept in touch throughout the years. We shared good memories and  would laugh about some of the things we did as children and she would say boldly "WE HAD FUN". I will not say goodbye because Cynthia will always be in my heart.
