David Javier Avina, 61 years old of Fontana, California, passed away on June 3, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 23, 1954, in Mexico to Javier and Josefina Avina. He is survived by his wife, Irma Gonzalez and children, Marisol Vasquez, David Avina, Ruth Mendoza, Diana Avina, Sandra Avina, Alejandro Javier Avina, Oscar Avina, Maribel Campos and David Ernesto Avina. Also, 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
David was a freight truck driver for over 21 years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015, 4-8 p.m., and Funeral Service on June 19, 2015, 10 a.m., both at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Burial will follow at Montecito Memorial Park.
David will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
