Edward Herve Gaumont Sr.

Edward Herve Gaumont, age 81, of Rialto, California passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023. Ed was born in New Hampshire on May 24, 1942. Ed was 16 years old when he moved to California with his family where he resided for the remainder of his life. He married the love of his life, Mary on May 23, 1970 and they had 2 children, Tracy and Edward Jr. Ed worked at the Colton Cement plant for 30+ years. He is survived by his two sisters, two children, and five grandchildren.

Come with Me

God saw he was getting tired

and the cure was not to be.

So He put his arms around him

and whispered, "Come with Me".

With tearful hearts

we watched him fade away.

Although we loved him dearly,

we could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

hardworking hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

he only takes the best.

A visitation for Edward will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at All Souls Mausoleum, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A committal service will occur Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
