I only learned the news of Elaine's passing today 8/15.  Paul & I send our heartfelt condolences.
There are not any words to say in the loss of your sister Elaine. She was an  amazing, person, daughter, sister and more. Her musical talents were a true gift from God.
I feel honored to have known her, and to  have  include her in my life experience.

I met Elaine in 2008 when I first stepped onto the CSUSB campus as an employee. Elaine took me under her wings and showed me the ropes and how to navigate the red tape on campus. She always had an open door for me to vent, ask questions or just to chat. I really admired her and the care she had for the students she worked with. I am so saddened to hear that she has passed. Bill, you and I never got to meet, but I heard so much about you and how happy you made her.
I will truly miss my dear friend....

I have avoided for well over a week now writing a condolence.  Writing a condolence makes this whole thing seem real.  I cannot image this world without Elaine.  Elaine was a beautiful soul inside and out.  I saw how loving and giving she was to family, friends, and the educational community.  I met Elaine 40 years ago as a Freshman at CSUSB.  She was amazing.  I always respected her commitment to her family, her faith, her music, her career.  She had an infectious laugh and gorgeous smile.  Knowing Elaine made me a better person by her example.  I appreciate her love, friendship, and advice over the years.  May God bless her family.  May you all find God's peace, and thank you for sharing her with all of us.  Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon her .  May Elaine rest in peace.

Elaine was more than a friend, she was my sister, in all regards❣️

Her integrity, honor, talent, intelligence, empathy, and respect left an indelible mark on me and everyone she met. Her sharp wit, humor, and compassion inspired many countless people to be their best selves.  I saw this time and time again!

Throughout our 53-year friendship, we shared unconditional love, laughter, and many crazy adventures. We were the Twister Sisters 🌪️ , a nickname coined by Bobby Felix that suited us perfectly. 

Elaine embodied the true essence of friendship, womanhood, and sisterhood. Her courage (like none other)  inspired me and her grace and love in the midst of her suffering, left me in awe. 

My heart goes out to her beloved husband, Bill, her cherished brothers, Bob and David, and her beautiful extended family and friends.  Everyone who knew Elaine adored her, and rightly so…she was one hell of a special person❣️

I'm eternally grateful for Elaine's love and presence in my life. My only wish, was to be by her side when it was time for her to leave her journey here on earth. 
God is miraculous and great!  He granted me that wish…thank you lord❣️ 

Rest in peace my sweet Lainie. Life will never be the same without you Sis. 💧

Elaine shared an amazing radiance with such beautiful grace.  Her journey here has went to higher places, may we rest in joy that she will eternally continue to share her radiance in the heavens. 🌷

I enjoyed working with Elaine at Cal State San Bernardino. I got to know her as a professional colleague but most importantly, as a friend. She was always welcoming, had a great sense of humor and a big heart. She had a positive impact on students, co-workers and everyone she met. I am saddened to learn about Elaine's passing. May her family find comfort during this difficult time and may our beautiful friend rest in eternal peace.

So saddened to hear of Elaine's passing...my heartfelt and sincerest condolences to Elaine's family and friends, particularly Bill of course and Elaine's brothers, David and Bob. I'm sorry to have lost touch with so many.  I was in such awe of Elaine when I  started singing in the area.  She was inspirational to me and the epitome of cool, playing both keyboards and singing, wow! I have memories of Gangbusters at the Ashgrove, backyard jams at John D's house and more.  Elaine was always gracious and kind to me.  She had a wonderful laugh and unforgettable smile, a beautiful soul...I pray we get to see you again one day in Glory!

Elaine was a beautiful person inside and out always treating others with kindness.  Elaine was a talented musician. Many, including myself, had the pleasure of performing some incredible gigs together creating  fabulous musical memories. We send our condolences to the family.

Lanine as I called her was a wonderful friend and one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever known. Her smile and bright light was everywhere! She always had a shoulder to lean on for anyone in need and offered the best and sound advice, her words of wisdom have stuck with me. I will miss her but will hold tight to our memories! Elaine was the best! She always had a smile and always made jokes that would have you in tears. I met her as a student at CSUSB and years later became a Co worker. She was always availible to help students... always an advocate. I  will always miss her smile and her laugh. -Alise Clouser

I think I met Elaine in 1975-76. We were both 17 or 18. We both played piano. We both were in bands (never together) but that’s where the similarities end. Where I was private, unsure and totally not skilled in social things, Elaine was open and loving. EVERYONE loved Nana. 
… and that Voice!  She and Maryann and I took a girls trip to Puerto Vallarta together - and to this day I fondly remember those days. Over the years, before FB,  lost touch but found her again. 
The world has lost such a beautiful soul. Soar, Elaine. Countless people both here, and departed, have been so blessed to experience you.  Memories with you have long filled my days, and will only continue.  
Love to your family.  I wish they will soon have their sadness replaced with joyful remembrances of their times with you.

Elaine was a truly special person—kind, compassionate, and always ready with a warm “Hey Buddy” that could brighten anyone’s day. I had the honor of working with her and later being part of her team when she became Assistant Director for Graduate and Credentials at CSUSB.  Even as she learned new areas, her leadership was grounded in empathy and care. She led by example and reminded us that great leaders listen, support, and uplift.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit, kindness, and legacy will live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, dear friend.

She had a kindness and calm that just emanated from her smile.  She simply was so sweet and quietly funny. Elaine was one of my favorite people when I worked in admissions at CSUSB. She was always kind,  encouraging, and had a great sense of humor. I will miss you my friend.  ❤️

This is truly heartbreaking.  Elaine was one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of knowing during our time at CSUSB.  She often shared heartfelt stories and showed deep care for her family and friends.  My heartfelt condolences to her entire family.

Elaine was a good person and I am glad to have met her during my first years of teaching. My sincerest condolences go out to her family.
