Fred Smith was married to his wife Irene Smith for 60 years. Both are now together again side by side. Fred was the father of two sons, Christopher Smith and Steven Smith. He had 5 grandchildren, Chris Smith Jr., Ryan Smith, Tyree Smith, Tiffany Leone and Ashley Poley. He also has 8 great grandchildren.
Fred was an avid sports fan. He played fast pitch softball as a pitcher for many years. He enjoyed fishing camping and traveling.
He worked at Laura Scudders for 35 years. He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.
