February 13, 1958 - September 15, 2023
In the heart of Los Angeles, California, Frederick Allen Murray Jr. made his debut into the world, a shining light born to Arzalia Bolden and Frederick Allen Murray Sr.
Frederick's journey of learning and growth led him to the halls of L.A.'s Washington High School where he graduated before he heeded the call to serve his country. In 1984, he embarked on what would become a distinguished career in the US Army as an Air Traffic Controller. His dedication and unwavering commitment to duty left an indelible mark on all who served alongside him.
Frederick worked for the defense military for 20 years. Prior to that he worked at Chrysler Corporation for 8 years. And he was an air traffic controller during his military stay.
Following his military tenure, Frederick transitioned into a new chapter, becoming an integral part of DECA as a dedicated store worker. His tireless work ethic and warm spirit made him an invaluable member of the team.
Frederick was a devoted father, his love extending to four children: the late Christopher Allen Murray, Bryan Adam Murray, Monica Murray, and Sydney Nicole Murray. Each one carries a piece of his wisdom, cherished memories, and love forward.
April Murray, Frederick's cherished wife, stood by his side through all of life's ups and downs. Together, they weathered storms and celebrated triumphs, their bond an enduring testament to love's power.
Frederick's legacy continues through his two siblings, Michael Murray and Kathy Murray-Taylor as well as his adoring nephews, Mariano and Michael, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
To know Frederick was to experience a warmth that enveloped all who were fortunate enough to be in his presence. His laughter was infectious, his kindness boundless, and his spirit unbreakable.
In this time of sorrow, the family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who have offered their support. Your love and compassion have been a beacon of light during these dark days.
A celebration of Frederick's remarkable life will be held on October 5th at 10368 Rock St, Mentone, CA 92368.
Though we mourn his passing, we find solace in knowing that he is resting in peace and that his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were touched by his love.
