Henry Mora and I met in late 1971 or early 1972, when opening a Fleetwood Wilderness Travel Trailer plant in Merced, CA.  Henry was one of our "early hires" for the Production Dept.  With Henry's positive attitude, leadership ability and work ethic, he was soon promoted to Dept. Lead man and then to Asst. Production Mgr.  He worked at being the fastest, "best of the rest" in Production. Henry was also the star of our company softball team.  He was a competitor in all of his endeavors.  In the first season, he hit four homeruns in one game...the last one winning the league Championship as it went past the field and into the Park swimming pool! :) Eventually, Henry left our plant and went to a competitor.  However, we were reunited at our Rialto, CA plant.  Henry was once again an Asst. Production Mgr. and a great asset to our growth and development. During our time together in Rialto and Riverside, Henry and I hunted deer and antelope in Wyoming and waterfowl at our Duck Club in back of Lake Perris as well as the Prado Dam area.  After my transfer in early 1996 to the Prowler plant in Crawfordsville, IN, Henry visited us and we kept in close touch until I retired in late 2000.  Henry was a special friend...very loyal, hardworking, competitive, faithful...who was always smiling, kidding and laughing.  We always had fun together and I really appreciated his friendship!  I will miss his phone calls and conversations a great deal.

Unfortunately, I never got to know Henry that well. However, I did have several opportunities to speak with him when he was at the Wilderness plant in Merced. Henry struck me as a very friendly, dependable and outgoing individual. My deepest condolences to Henry's family and all of his close friends.                                .

I met Henry at Rialto in the early 90's. I remember our great softball teams with Henry at short and me at second....a pretty good dbl play combo! RIP Henry!

Henry had a fantastic sense of humor and a quick wit that was quick and to the point. I truly enjoyed working with Henry at Rialto. He was a reliable assistant.

Henry and I were Asst Production Managers together  at the Rialto plant in 1982.  We worked hard and had a lot of laughs together.  Henry was a great guy and always fair to everyone.  He wanted to see everyone be as successful as they could be regardless of where they came from or their background.  My prayers are with his family.

I was saddened to hear of the untimely passing of my childhood friend Henry Mora. I saw Henry at our 30th high school reunion. I had not seen him since high school due to the fact that we both left our home town when we were young adults. It was obvious that Henry had overcome childhood obstacles and achieved success in life. I saw Henry again about six years ago when we both attended a New Year's Eve party at the home of Bob and Yolanda. Bob is my brother and he remained Henry's close friend  through the years. At the party Henry was surrounded by his family and was obviously very happy. A few months later I saw Henry one last time at Bob and Yolanda's home  The times spent with Henry  revealed to me that he remained the kind and gentle person he had been as a child. I know Henry is in peace. My brothers and I will miss him.

I knew Henry since we were kids.  His strength, speed and explosiveness were legendary in our small town.  He was always a very hard worker and a tremendous provider of necessary income for his parents/siblings.  As a young adult, before he left our town for good, he loved to have fun but he did not consume any alcohol.  Everyone, especially the girls in our town, considered him to be very handsome and muscular.  Henry was very much an active and happy-go-lucky guy until two very unfortunate situations occurred.  Because of the type of heavy labor he performed as a cabinet builder  and the intensity of his work ethic, his knees deteriorated and he had to undergo bilateral knee replacement surgery.  This markedly diminished his ability to be active!  Then he was preceded in death by his beloved sons Peter and Henry Jr.  These events were devastating for my good friend.  Peter's death was especially difficult because not only were they Father/Son; they were best friends, hunting and fishing "buddies".   He became depressed, isolated and lonely.  As his good friend, and someone he trusted, I wish I would have done more for my friend!  Henry sometimes came across as having a tough bravado.  But underneath that he was gentle spirit who would do absolutely anything for his "boys from the hood"!  As we used to tell each other after our frequent phone conversations " I love you man, take care of yourself!"  " You too brother, you too!"  I am going to miss you so much!
