Joseph Paul Guzman

Joseph Paul Guzman,49, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 due to heart complications. He is survived by his daughters Samantha Guzman and Kolene Lane, sons Korbin and Kamrin Lane, girlfriend Priscilla Lane, his parents Robert and Diane Rose, sister Corie Buck and her husband Gordon Buck, sister Bobbi Frensley and her husband Tawd Frensley, and an abundance of family and friends.

Born on March 12, 1975, Joe spent his early years in Hacienda Heights, CA before his family settled in Rubidoux, where they still reside. “Joey”, as he was lovingly known to his family, grew up in Rubidoux with his sisters and formed many lifelong friendships through the years. He always referred to his close friends as his “brothers” or “cousins”, and he was very protective of the ones he loved. If you needed him, he was always just a call away.

Joe’s soft spot were his kids, Samantha, Korbin, Kamrin, and Kolene. He could be tough on them, but always made sure they knew he loved them immensely and was proud of them.

Joe lived life on his terms, and was a force to be reckoned with! He was charming and witty, and always the life of the party. His huge personality could win anyone over but you definitely wanted to stay on his good side! He lived his life to the fullest and made sure to tell everyone he loved them any chance he got. He was a big guy with a tough exterior, but really was just a big kid!

He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
