Carlos was born in Pueblo Juarez, Colima Mexico on May 13th, 1962 to Ignacio Ballesteros and Carmen Peralta. He had a happy childhood alongside his siblings. After finishing his elementary school studies, he transferred to the city of Guadalajara to continue with his education. He graduated from “Mejoramiento Professional del Magisterio” with a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching. He also had a minors in Physical Science and Chemistry. He was an avid basketball player and a very studious individual. With a physique of an athlete, and the intelligence of a director, he attracted the attention of a young beautiful Acelia Arechiga.
Carlos and Acelia where 17 years old when they first met. They started off as friends but as the time passed they became to admire each other as much more than just friends. They came to realize their admiration for each other had grown to be deep feelings and fell in love with one another. They enjoyed many romantic dates before the big day finally came. On December 26, 1985, in Autlan, Mexico, Carlos married Acelia and she received his last name, she was now Acelia Ballesteros. Shortly after their wedding, they moved to the United States in hopes of creating a better life for their future children. They were successful. He fathered 4 children, 2 hardworking sons and 2 beautiful daughters.
Carlos’s strong work ethic, intelligence, and morals helped him achieve many great job titles during his career. While in Mexico, he was a school teacher. Once in the U.S., he became the General Manager of Modular Office Solutions, where he worked for 15 years. His most recent job was at El Super, where he helped Supervise and manage one of the biggest produce distributions for over 10 years. His work ethic and morals were a part of who he was and were instilled in his children. He was fortunate enough to see his oldest son become a part of management, his younger son become a public accountant, and his daughters become school teachers. He enjoyed many hobbies which included, coin collecting, mining, building his own structures for his home, Lego’s with his grandchildren, nature and all of its natural beauty, as well as making his famous “Carnitas”. He greatly enjoyed taking trips out of the city and out to the wilderness, having visited many national parks, lakes, and beaches. He was fascinated by Nature’s beauty and all of the wonderment of everything within, from a special little rock that could have once been used as a flint stone, to the great trees such as Sequoias and Redwoods standing for hundreds of years, tall and magnificent.
