Julia graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1943. She worked as a Telephone Operator for one year and then worked at Norton Air Force Base for six years. There she met her husband Abelino. They married in 1953 in Yuma Arizona and were married 60 years until his passing in 2013.
Julia’s joy was her roses. She had 32 plants and knew them all by name. They were beautiful because of her prayers over them and her constant care. She was a good cook and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her sister Mary Vasquez of San Bernardino and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on May 3, 2023 at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary in the Cypress Chapel at 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda CA. Viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Service at 10:00 a.m. Graveside at 11:00 a.m.
