

Julia P. (Honey) Oliva of Colton, California, passed away on August 15, 2023, surrounded by family. She is survived by her children Diane Martinez, Gene Oliva (Jeannette), Susie Barrios (Roland); grandchildren Chris Martinez, Kendahl Martinez, Rory Oliva, Connor Oliva, and Danielle Barrios; two great-grandchildren Gavin and Jude Martinez; and many nieces and nephews. Julia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rudy Oliva, her parents Trino and Julia Negrete, brother Eddie Negrete, sister, Becky Adame, and son-in-law, Tom Martinez.
Honey was born in San Bernardino. She graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1950. After she and Rudy married, they moved to Colton where they purchased their home and raised their children. She retired as a manager with TransUnion Credit after 30 years of service.
More than anything, Honey enjoyed the company of her family. She never missed a sporting event, musical recital, school award or graduation of her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service for Julia will be held on Thursday September 7, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in our Valley View Chapel located at: 3520 E. Washington, St. Colton Ca. 92324
Committal Service for Julia will take place on Thursday September 7, 2023 at 11:30 am at Montecito Memorial Park located at: 3520 E. Washington St. Colton, Ca. 92324
