Kathryn Allen

Kathryn was born January 29, 1948 to the late Ruth & B.B. Brown in Plain Dealing, Louisiana.

Kathryn accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Plain Dealing, LA. She gradated in 1966 from Carrie Martin High. In the summer of 1966 Kathryn moved to Los Angeles, CA where she met Lamar Allen Jr. On August 11, 1968 they were united in Holy Matrimony. To this union two (2) sons were born, Lamar III AND Charles Andre.

Kathryn was employed at Kaiser Permanente for over 25 years. She was a member of Manna Missionary Baptist Church in Rialto, CA.

Kathryn was preceded in death by (4) brothers - Harvey, Elbert , Sandie, and Huey (3) sisters - Nora, Hazel and Addie.

Kathryn leaves to cherish her memories: her sons Lamar III (Gina) of Rialto, CA and Charles Andre (Deva) of San Bernardino, CA - (3) sisters Loda Williams of Plain Dealing, LA, Vader Bradford (James) of Omaha, NE and Lovie Zanders of Rialto, CA - (4) four grandchildren, Daveya (Annie) of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Ariel, Alysa and Kevin of Rialto - (1) great grandson, Vincent of Kaiserslautern, Germany and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
