

LAUREL ANNE “PAT” JONES
LAUREL ANNE “PAT” MUNDALL was born August 12, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, to Bernard and Myrtle Mundall. She grew up in Glendale, California, with older sister Betty Jeanne and younger sister Cynthia Joan. She attended La Sierra College in Riverside, California, and graduated from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, with a degree in English.
In 1949, she married Ralph Llewellyn Jones and moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where they lived for three years. In 1952, they relocated to Santa Clara, California, where Pat raised their 3 daughters and tended their home.
In 1960, the family moved to College Place, Washington. Pat obtained a Master’s Degree in Education at Walla Walla College in 1967. She taught English at Walla Walla College and at Garrison Junior High School in Walla Walla.
Pat played the violin and enjoyed playing in orchestras when in college and was part of the Walla Walla College orchestra for many years.
Following the death of her husband in 1982, Pat moved to Loma Linda, California to be near her daughters and her sister. She worked selling antique china in her sister’s antique store in Redlands, California for many years.
Pat died December 31, 2023, at the age of 96. She is survived by her daughters Laurel Munson, Allison Field, and Julianne Hardy, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
