Lori lived the last 30 years as a quadriplegic ventilator dependent, but she loved her life and fought to live right up until the end. She always seemed to be more up than the majority of people. She never felt sorry for herself and never wanted anyone else to. She lived her life to the fullest.
Jenny, Lori's mom, was her best friend. They loved to shop together. Lori loved shopping for the kids.
Lori's brother, Larry, his wife Tish and their three children lived with Lori. Larry took care of the house, yard, repaired her wheelchair many times. Lori felt safe having them with her as they were able to assist in her care. Lori and Larry didn't always get along, as siblings often don't, but they loved each other dearly. Lori had no children of her own, but her two nieces and nephew were the love of her life.
Lori's father, Larry, lives in Canada and came down as often as possible to visit. Lori enjoyed spending time with him.
Lori always made sure her nurses did her hair and make up everyday. She would not leave the house until she was dressed up.
Lori had a wonderful sense of humor and often directed it towards herself.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Lori will have a Funeral Service on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Montecito Mortuary in the Valley View Chapel with interment to follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, California.
