Lupe R. Chavez, 90 years old of Colton, passed away on October 4, 2013, at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 24, 1924 to Pedro and Socorro Rodriguez in Colton, California. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles and granddaughter, Christy Chavez. Lupe is survived by her children, Lucy Salazar (Mel), Bobby Chavez (Linda), Freddy Chavez (Mary) and Rose Marquez. Also her 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
She was a homemaker for over 70 years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013, 10 to 11 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m., both at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Montecito Memorial Park.
