

Lydia Baltazar Mangalindan, 93 years old of Corona, California, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024 at Riverside Community Hospital. She was born on February 5, 1931 in Sasmuan, Pampanga, Philippines to Jose and Maria Baltazar.
Lydia studied at Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines before marrying her husband, Jesus Mangalindan (deceased), in 1959. Soon after, she settled down to become a stay-at-home mom to six children and devoted all of her time to her family. A loving wife, dedicated mother, and doting grandmother, Lydia lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like keeping an organically clean home with a lush garden, as well as cooking sumptuous meals for her family.
She is survived by her loving sons Joel, Jonathan, and Joshua, daughters Lily, Leah, and Lygie, son-in-law Jimmy, grandsons Justin and Jericho, and granddaughters Kirsten and Kiera.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and also on Friday, April 5, 2024, 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., both at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, 10 a.m. at All Souls Mausoleum, 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Graveside service will follow on Friday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
