December 25, 1960 – April 21, 2025
Marie Regina Rymer, 64, of Corona, California, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2025, in Eastvale, California, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Tustin, CA, and raised in San Juan Capistrano, Marie brought joy, laughter, and heart to everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.
To know Marie was to feel instantly special. Her raspy voice, quick wit, and that unforgettable, infectious laugh could light up any room. When she walked in, you felt it—her presence made you feel seen, loved, and at home.
A proud graduate of Capistrano Valley High School, Marie built a career spanning over 33 years in the auto body industry. She was most recently employed by Gerber Collision, where she was deeply loved and appreciated by her work family. Her professionalism, humor, and warmth made her a standout not only in her field, but in the lives of all who worked alongside her.
But more than anything, Marie’s greatest pride and joy was her role as Tita and Auntie Wee. She was the proud aunt to 20 nieces and nephews, and 23 great-nieces and great-nephews, who she lovingly called “my babies and my loves.” Her entire life revolved around them—from early morning basketball games to evening football and soccer matches—Marie was always there, cheering louder than anyone. She often said, “A ten-year-old is my best friend,” and she meant it with all her heart.
Her home was the hub of sleepovers, storytelling, and endless laughter. She was the family’s heart, a devout Catholic, and a brilliant storyteller who could have you laughing until your stomach hurt. Her favorite stories were always about her family, especially childhood memories, camping trips, and the beloved “Lola’s Picnic” at Doheny Beach.
Marie was also an exceptional baker, best known for her honeycomb and her mother’s cherished cheesecake recipe, which she lovingly perfected.
Marie was truly one in a million—a daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, friend, and a light in every life she touched. She is preceded by her loving parents, Alan and Lourdes Rymer, and is survived by her six siblings: Terri, Lori, Paul, Kathy, Ana, and Andy. She also leaves behind her cherished 20 nieces and nephews, and 23 great-nieces and great-nephews, who were the center of her world.
Marie Regina Rymer leaves behind a legacy of fierce love, deep faith, and boundless laughter. Her presence will be missed every single day, but her spirit lives on in every joyful memory, every family gathering, and every burst of laughter shared in her honor.
Rest easy, Auntie Wee. You gave us everything. And we will carry your love forever.
