Martin De Groot, 87 years old of Moreno Valley, California, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was born on December 19, 1924, in The Netherlands, to Petrus Johannes and Adriana Maria De Groot. He is survived by his wife Lena, sons, Marten and Pete De Groot and daughter, Leny Luyten. Also his 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Martin worked as a Grain Mill Operator for over 20 years.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012, 4-8 p.m. at Montecito Laurelwood Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, July 20, 2012, 12 noon at All Souls Mausoleum, followed by burial at burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, CA.
