I never got the chance to know you, but I truly wish I had. And even though we were never able to bond, I know that a part of you lives on in me. I am aware that I will never really be welcomed by the whole family, but the few who have reached out to me have made me feel at home with them. And I am grateful to have some answers to questions I have been plagued with most of my life. I know if things were different, we would have been thick as thieves. Rest In Peace grandma, please watch over me from wherever you are  when I need it most. 

To my friend Frank and the rest of the Vavra Family, my deepest sorrow at your Mother's passing.

We will miss Mary very much. We have wonderful memories, especially our fun times at christmas. She was a wonderful Grandmother to my children and all her grandchildren, and the best mother in law anyone could ask for. May you rest in peace Mary.

The still-defended challenge-cup. 

And round that early-laurelled head
Will flock to gaze the strengthless dead, 
And find unwithered on its curls
The garland briefer than a girl's.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Although it has been a number of years since I have seen Aunt Mary we spoke on the phone numerous times over the past few years. She always had positive things to say. She was very proud of her family and spoke lovingly of her children.
I am the daughter of Andrew Kall, her older brother. We visited your family a few times as children. I have fond memories of swimming in your pool. 
Again I am so sorry for your loss, and I will keep all of you in my prayers.
