June 23, 2002 - January 8, 2016
Nicholas Puccio of Victorville, California was 13 years old. Our "little Papi" passed through the gates of Heaven unexpectedly at the hospital on January 8, 2016. Nicholas blessed our beloved lives on June 23, 2002. Nicholas was very much loved by his family and had a very close bond with his parents. He was an Honor Roll student at Excelsior Charter School. He was baptized at Holy Innocents as a baby. His father is Catholic and his mother is Seventh Day Adventist they visited both churches. Like any 13 year old, he enjoyed video games, playing with his German Shepherd Cinnamon. He was an avid collector of locks, rocks and rare coins. He loved the outdoors. Unlike most teenagers, he was very frugal and at the time of his death he had a personal savings of over $500 (Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, rewards good grades). He loved to smile. Nicholas and his father studied martial arts together and enjoyed going to the firing range for target practice. He had a fondness for the military and we believe he would have made an excellent soldier. During his early childhood, Nicholas enjoyed swimming, birthday parties, traveling and the embracing hugs from his family. As he grew older and stronger, Nicholas trained in martial arts with his beloved father as his mentor. Nicholas was full of energy, energy that will live on forever through those who love him. Nicholas had a heart so immense that it is now spread throughout his family. We will always remember his charming smile. John 14:1-4 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going." Nicholas Puccio attended Excelsior Charter School in Victorville, California. Nicholas was an honor student receiving numerous awards for his outstanding academic achievements. He enjoyed playing video games, playing with his friends, taking long drives, music, spending time with his family including his pet Cinnamon. Nicholas was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Francisco Melgar Puccio, grandmother Susana Martinez-Urmachea and maternal great-grandparents Socorro and Juan Gonzalez. Surviving parents at home are Antonio F. and Cyndi I. Puccio, and maternal grandparents Martin and Irene Baldenegro. We love you so much son!
