Nicolas S Mercado

Nicolas was born and raised in El Marecito Zacatecas, Mexico until the age of 17, when he came to the United States for a better life and to help support his parents. He met his wife Linda at the age 19 and they where married on May 2, 1981.

Nicolas was a hard working man and a great provider for his family. Some of his accomplishments include going to school to learn English, becoming a US Citizen and getting his class c license to become a truck driver. Nicolas was always eager to develop his skills to better himself.

He was a great honorable man always willing lend a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed listening to music, singing and taking care of his plants.

Nicolas is survived by his wife of 40 years Linda Mercado; his two children; Christopher Mercado, Lorena Roque and her husband Michael Roque; His Granddaughter Audrey Roque; His Brother Migel Mercado and 5 sisters; Maria, Otilia, Flor, Lucia, and Cuca; many loving nieces, nephews and relatives

Nicolas S Mercado, age 61, of San Bernardino, California passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Nicolas was born October 29, 1960 in Mexico.

A visitation for Nicolas will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1430 W 5th St, San Bernardino, CA 92411. A committal service will occur Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
