Ralph Schilcher, Jr., 74, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Ralph was born November 7, 1942 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Ralph and Mary Schilcher. A man of many talents and highly creative, Ralph worked as a senior designer and surveyor in the field of civil engineering and land development for over 54 years until his illness and passing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, action movies, good food, music, and the great outdoors.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 25 years, Catherine, daughter Suzanne, stepdaughter Jennifer, granddaughter Amelia, brother Dennis, sister Beverly, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary, and his son, Ralph Schilcher III. Ralph was a loving father, caring husband, doting grandfather and loyal friend. His gentle kindness touched many lives and he is dearly missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 13 at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. Pastor Tom Russell of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside will be officiating. Burial and reception will follow afterwards.
