Still trying to process everything loosing someone dearly to us, so soon.  We will miss your sweet smile & enormous hug every time you saw us. You surprised us with your graceful dance move skills & I’ve discovered all your unique talents. 
Our dearest Reena your warmth, sweetness, laugh, will deeply missed  & your memories remain cherished forever. We love you. We’re thankful you came to our life. Fly high & may your soul Rest in peace.

My sweet Reena, how I miss your big hugs and quiet voice greeting me each time we saw one another beginning all those years ago…you were Gods beauty and love expressed in physical form - you were his chosen child.  I loved having you in my Zumba class.  You amazed me with your creative dancing skills as I played one of your favorite *NSYNC  songs, “Just Got Paid,” and watched you smile. 
I am grateful you came into my life and will think of you often.  Rejoice in the Lord Reena.

For 2024 Halloween, Reena dressed as clown.

For 2023 Halloween, Reena dressed up as Miraculous Lady Bug.

Our dearest Reena, it was written somewhere that special kids are given to special parents.  We feel special because you gave us the opportunity to serve God in a special way.  You and your siblings gave us the purpose of our lives. You were so loving and sweet, very generous with your hugs and kisses, though only to people you like, and there’s a lot of them.  You loved your family and enjoyed their company.  At your peak, you were so energetic, talented and graceful, you loved to dance, sing, wrote lists, did word search, colored and sometimes painted.  You participated in Special Olympics gymnastics and swimming. You sang and danced on stage with Star Performers, trained and directed by Ric Morris at the Rancho Cucamonga Community Center.  You also danced on stage at the Los Osos High School auditorium under the tutelage of Anne Marie. You loved Ginger’s Zumba class though you did you own step.  Ginger used to always play your favorite songs.  You performed your own song and dance versions of celebrities like Michael Jackson and Britney Spears and others at the annual Christmas Talent Show at the Rancho del Valle afterschool program.  At our Cousins Holiday parties you sang and danced, participated in White Elephant gift exchange, even dressed up as Santa and helped distribute gifts.  I loved dressing you up on those occasions.  And you loved getting dressed up in costumes for Halloween parties at Crossroads Day Program.  You loved going to Crossroads that you became angry when you cannot go due to the onset of COVID 19, and we cannot go out to eat.  Oh, you loved eating out at different restaurants and having ice cream after our meals.    Not to be forgotten is your love of Coke, but we indulge you only when we eat out, not at home, since you were trying to lose weight. We will miss you so much. You will forever be in our prayers.

Reena loved wearing costumes for Halloween.  In 2010 she wore a Lady Gaga inspired costume.

On March 9, 2024, Reena and Auntie Dorrie posed in front of statue of Marilyn Monroe in Downtown Palm Springs.

On July 29, 2017, Reena celebrated her birthday in Cancun, Mexico, with brothers.

On July 29, 2023, Reena celebrated her 41st birthday with family at the Monte Verde Home.

On December 25, 2023, Reena celebrated Christmas Day at the Monte Verde Home board and care facility,

On August 24, 2024, Reena spent a day at the beach with the loving ladies from Faith Quality Care Board and Care Facility.

Reena celebrated her 42nd birthday with family at Faith Quality Care Home.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to Cielo, Rey, Ron, Ritchie and the rest of the family.  I will miss Reena and her antics, Karaoke singing, dancing and her natural abilities to entertain and amuse us.  Rest in peace, dear Reena.
