Regional Lionel Low (Reggie) was born in British Guiana (now known at Guyana) on March 13, 1918. He was one of 9 siblings born to a parents who owned a sugar plantation. He went to Chicago’s Northwestern School of Dentistry and graduated in 1941. After practicing dentistry in Trinidad, he traveled to California to take some college religion courses and wanted to meet a Christian lady. At Pacific Union College, he met Pearl Fong who became his wife in 1950. They settled in Redlands where Reggie practiced dentistry until he was 70 years old. His son, Larry, followed his footsteps and took dentistry. Larry joined the dental practice and continued the family business after Reggie retired. Reggie’s hobbies included piano, organ, ham radio and family. He had 5 children – Bev is an RN, Norm is a MD, Brian is a MD, Larry is a DDS and Kevin is a podiatrist. He also has 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by Pearl who has been his wife, support and caregiver for over 68 years.
