Richard Merle (Dick) Roth, 96 died quietly at his home on Oct 3, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Donna Lee Roth and daughter, Rebecca. Predeceased by his two sons John and Stephen Roth, father Forrest Roth, mother Mildred Woosley and Sister Barbara Shearer. Services at SB First Church of the Nazarene, 1605 N Sierra Way, SB at 10:30 am on Oct 28, 2024.
Richard was Associate Pastor at SB First Church of the Nazarene and Principal of Valley Christian School from 1968 until his retirement. He coached many sports throughout his career and played softball into his 60’s.
He loved God and was a perfect example of a true Christian, loving, kind, encouraging and supportive. He had a great sense of humor and liked to laugh. He loved his life, loved his wife, family and friends and all he met.
