Robert Erwin Croll

9-15-27 Franklin, Ohio to 5-26-12 Perris, CA (complications after heart surgery). He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Jane, a son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Vickie Croll of Casa Grande, AZ, a daughter and son-in-law, Sontina & John Leuer, of Moreno Valley, CA, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Elizabet Croll, of Fairfax, VA, a brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Pat Croll, of Cincinnati, OH, a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Sue and Ray Del Llano, of Midland, TX, a sister-in-law, June Lowry, of Moreno Valley, CA, various nieces and nephews. Bob was pre-deceased by his daughter, Kimberly Jo Farr, Simi Valley, CA. Bob spent 33 years in Civil Service for D.E.S.C. in Dayton, Ohio before retiring at age 55 to Southern California. He and wife, Margaret, travelled the country in their motor home and when home enjoyed fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden. Bob spent many years working on the family’s genealogy, and had compiled thousands of records. Bob enjoyed wood working and could fix anything. Always quick with a joke and the first to help a neighbor or family member in need, he will be greatly missed. Services are Friday, June 1, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 East Washington Street, Colton, CA
