Ronald J. Rodriguez

Ronald J. Rodriguez, age 59, of Highland, California, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Affectionately known as Ronnie, he was a beloved figure, deeply cherished by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Ronnie was a dedicated family man, survived by his wife of 36 years, Valerie, and their three sons: Ronnie Jr. (Roseanne), Erick, and Christopher. He is also survived by two brothers, Rilo (Angie) and Timothy Lee (Rosa). Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Porfirio (Rilo) Rodriguez and Jacqueline (Jeanne) Rodriguez.

In addition to his commitment to family, Ronnie found great joy in coaching his children in sports throughout their lives, imparting not only athletic skills but also invaluable life lessons of discipline, resilience, and determination. Ronnie embraced life with a love for golf, fishing, and hiking with friends. He and Valerie found joy in spending quality time together traveling, playing scrabble, cooking, and working on countless home improvement projects. Ronnie's legacy is one of shared adventures, love, and an appreciation for life's simple pleasures; his enduring dedication to family and community will inspire us all. His memory will forever reside in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.

Funeral services to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held on November 28, 2023, at St. Adelaide Church, 27457 Baseline Street, Highland, CA 92346. The Rosary will be from 12:00 pm to 12:20 pm, followed by Mass from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm and a reception to follow. Burial services will be held privately.
