Ronald P. Siagian

November 25, 1963 - August 11, 2011

Ron was born in Bandung, Indonesia to Mr. Soaloon & Mrs. Engeline Siagian. In 1969, Ron’s family relocated to Jakarta where Ron began attending grade school to high school. In 1980, the Siagian family moved to the United States where Ron completed his high school education at Redlands High. In 1992, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business from CSUSB and in 2002 earned an MBA from The University of Phoenix.

Ron began and completed his professional career at Loma Linda University. He was the General Manager of the Loma Linda University Printing Services in Loma Linda, CA, then became the Director of Retail and Services. This was his final position at the University. After leaving Loma Linda University, Ron started a consulting business, a position he had always desired.

On August 27, 2000 Ron married Tanya Chilson. Their first daughter, Lindsey, was born in October of 2003. A second daughter, Lauren, was later born in 2006. The couple would have been married 11 years next week.

Ron passed away in Loma Linda, CA on August 11, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Tanya, and their two daughters, Lindsey (7), and Lauren (5). He is also survived by his parents, Mr. Soaloon Siagian & Mrs. Engeline Siagian. His siblings and their spouses include Alvin Siagian and Fitri Suriangreni; Victor Siagian and Asnita Mamora Siagian; and Esther Siagian Khan and Lester Khan. His nieces and nephews include Austin Siagian, Victoria Siagian, Heather Stewart, Ryan Stewart (the children of Tanya’s sister Tammy), Elina Khan, and Leily Khan.

Ron was loved and respected by his family and his many friends, and will be greatly missed. We look forward to being reunited at the return of Jesus to this earth.
