Rose Marie Fortin passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on June 23, 1940, in New York, she was a beloved and devoted mother who was known for her dedication and loving spirit. Rose Marie resided in Big Bear, California, and was a devout Catholic, deeply committed to her faith.
She is survived by her four children, 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, who will cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of love and devotion.
A series of services will be held to honor Rose Marie's life.
Guests are invited to the All Souls Chapel, located at 3510 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA, on January 10, 2026, doors open at 9:00 am. A Rosary will follow at 9:30 am at the same location.
The Funeral Mass will take place at All Souls Chapel from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Committal Service will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
A Reception will follow the Committal at The Mission Inn, Spanish Art Gallery, 3649 Mission Inn Ave., Riverside, CA 92501. Parking will be available off of 6th Street.
Rose Marie will be remembered for her unwavering faith and the love she shared with her family and friends.
