Salvador Torres was born to Angela and Jesus in Mexico. It was they that taught Salvador everything he knew. Growing up in Mexico showed him that he did not need much to be happy. He met the love of his life, Ruth Carasaco, they were married and had four children, Jesus, Carmen, Elizabeth and Laura.Their life moved them to California, where they all found love and had kids of their own. Salvador had nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, all whom he loved very much. As you can see, he wasn't rich with money, but he always said "you don't need money to be happy and I am Rich with Love!" He had a point, he was always happy and loved and everyday he would come looking for me and his great grand babies and tell us, "there you are mi pequenia saltamontes" and everyone you asked, they would say he was a man with a great big heart, always a smile on him! He will be missed!
Salvador will have a Visitation on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM and a Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM, both in the Valley View Chapel at Montecito Mortuary with burial to follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, California.
