They then moved to Huntington Park, CA where they had two children, Kelly and Kevin. Sharon worked at St. Francis Hospital in Lynnwood as a data entry processor. The family moved to Riverside in 1979. They became members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and Sharon was a data processor at Las Plumas Lumber yard in Rubidoux. She also sang in the Riverside Choral at UC Riverside.
In 1990, Sharon and Chuck moved to McKinleyville, in Northern Calif. She worked in the radiology dept. of Mad River Hospital in Arcata for 10 years. They then moved back to SoCal in the early 2000’s, first to Victorville then Lucerne Valley, to be closer to their grandchildren, Katie, Gracen, and Laurel Walls, and Tabytha, Pandora, and Ezra Hames. They joined the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Assoc., and met many wonderful people whom they traveled across the country with.
Sharon loved music, from the Beatles and John Denver to Josh Groban; Celtic Women and Celtic Thunder to Trans Siberian Orchestra. She loved to travel, and would often fly across the country to catch a concert or go on a cruise to meet her favorite bands. She even talked Chuck into taking her to Cancun, Mexico for some breathtaking sightseeing. She was an avid movie goer, and couldn’t wait for a new movie to open at the local movie theater.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Chuck; daughter, Kelly; son, Kevin; 6 adored grandchildren; aunt, Anna Lee Markle; Uncle, John Huff; and a host of cousins. She will be sorely missed.
