Marie and JoAnn & your families,  I was so very sorry to see your Mom passed.  I DO now how you feel.  The only good thing is your Dad and your Mom are very very happy again.  They feel good and are having a ball.  I do remember happy times.  Even though it was a long time ago, those are very good memories.  My heartfelt sympathy is sent to both of you beautiful friends and your family.  Love you, Darryl

Dear Mom:

Whenever someone you love is gone, you always think of the memories that have been stored away for years.

Like when, if JoAnn and I would misbehave, you would chase us around the dining room table.  Or when you would wake up Dad to drive us to school even though school was only two blocks away.  Or when we had to go to Aunt Bessie's every Friday night for dinner and we always had Lintel Soup and Chocolate Pudding Pie.  Or the summers spent at the Farm with family.  Or whenever we went to the lake, we could only go in the water up to our knees because we might step in a hole, never to be seen again.

I have so many wonderful, fun memories of you and Dad.  Whenever I feel sad, I'll pull a couple of those memories up and smile knowing everything will be ok because I know you and Dad are together again.

My heart is heavy to hear of your loss.  Your parents were such good friends of my parents and we considered them part of the family.  We had such fun and so much laughter.  You never knew what mischief our Dads could stir up when together! My prayer is that you find comfort in knowing how loved your Mom was.  I'm sure Mom and Dad were there to guide her on to the next adventure.  With loving memories of a wonderful lady. We will love you and miss you always, Vera. God bless you and your families and be with you during this sorrowful time.

In loving memory of my Mom...We moved you and Dad to California 6 years ago to live with us and to take care of both of you. We shared many good times and also shared a few not so good times. Sometimes it was a real challenge, sometimes it was stressful. But, all in all, we got to spend your last years together. Our kids, grandkids, and even our great-grandaughter, were able to get to know you. You always loved to be with the babies. 

I will always remember how much you loved to go out to eat, and how you loved to go to the grocery store with me so you could pick out the bakery items that you liked best.

I know you were ready to join Dad. You told me you were going to pass away in August and that is just what you did...you wanted  to be with Dad for his birthday.

I love you and miss you as I love Dad and miss him. You are in a better place now, safe and peaceful. May you and Dad have eternal happiness together.
