Vince was also a skilled carpenter with strong hands and enjoyed building things. He remodeled both of his grand-daughters' first homes.
Vince enjoyed practicing and teaching karate. One of his greatest accomplishments was receiving his black belt at the age of 68.
Vince also loved to drive fast with a top speed of 140 mph, and competed in numerous drag races at the Fontana Speedway in his early 70’s. He had a 2019 Challenger SRT 392 Scat Pack that he customized. He was proud that he completed a ¼ mile strip in 11.8 seconds.
