Yvonne Foster was born on August 31, 1929 in Vancouver, British Columbia, the fifth and only girl of Ross and Florence. She graduated from Loma Linda School of Health in 1951 with her nursing degree. Later that year she married her sweetheart, Darrow Foster on September 10. She completed her BSN in the early sixties. Later, she completed her Master’s in Public Health in 1986. Yvonne had a deep love for the Lord and her family. She enjoyed assisting her pastor husband, raising a family, cooking, traveling, working as a nurse and literature evangelism. She was a member of the Victoria SDA Church. She passed away on September 9, 2020 in Loma Linda, CA. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Malcolm, Kenneth, Rod and Calvin. She is survived by her dear husband of nearly 69 years, daughters Loretta (Bob), Cynthia (Harold) and son Darrow Jr (Alice), three grandchildren Caleb, Alissa and Krista and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 16, 2020.
