Pat and I besides living in New Carrollton, , went to Duval high school, worked at the Green Acres swim club and he and his sister both swim on the swim team in new Carrollton as I did. Sorry to hear about Pats passing.  Bob Heart

I'm so sorry for your loss. Pat always gave full size candy bars at Halloween. I would stop to talk when he was sitting on his porch on my walks. I'll miss his skeleton that was hanging on his porch for the last few years because I knew he was inside.  He was a sweet man, and he had some great stores to tell. My walks won't be the same knowing he's not there. 

Pat was a GREAT GUY & loyal friend we have been friends for the last 25 or 30 years. I have always enjoyed spending time with him. He shot fireworks with me & we would spend time camping & shooting together. He had become part of our family, He would spend Thanksgiving, Christmas and many other holidays & special occasions with us. My wife ,myself & my kids are truly going to miss this once in a lifetime friend.

From fire station 10 right up the street, Pat was a hell of guy. Pat bought all the shifts breakfast multiple times just because he wanted to. A few of us were pretty close with Pat, loved talking to him about anything. He’d always ask “how Howard county’s bravest” were doing. Pat was appreciated by all of station 10 more than he’d  know and we were all at a loss to hear he’d left us.

 To Pat; We’ll miss ya and we’ll never forget you.

I met Pat at an Indy race here in Richmond Va.  He was taking photos and my camera stopped working and he offered to email me his shots.  He fulfilled his promise and I received them and from that time on we were friends.  He came down for a NASCAR race on a different occasion and talked regularly on the phone.  I knew  he didn't feel well at times but I always enjoyed hearing him laugh.   Our birthdays are only two days apart so we called each other on those special days.  I will miss not talking to you and you will definitely be missed.   Rest easy.    Karen

Pat worked for me in Saigon. When Vietnam fell to the North Vietnamese and I had to evacuate my subordinates, Pat at first refused to go—he didn't want to leave me behind. I had to take him to the plane and get him on it to get him out of the country. I later escaped under fire after the North Vietnamese were already in the streets. I've never forgotten Pat's devotion.
