Carrie Virginia Little

Carrie was born to the late Agnes Manning lovingly known as BigMa and Lenward Little, departed this life after a lengthy illness.

Born and educated in North Carolina, the family later moved to Maryland in the late 1960's.

Carrie nurtured and raised her children, Christopher, Jason and Balinda described in the dictionary as " love or affectionate concern expressed in a stern or unsentimental manner (as through discipline) especially to promote responsible behavior" known as Tough Love.

Her passion for her family could have been seen and felt as she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, not to mention or forget her aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews. You could hear the voices of those in her presence who affectionately called her Ma, Nana and MiMi.

Carrie enjoyed her close knitted family, shopping and her word puzzle books, enjoying the challenge of continual learning and she could have had her own Word search app.

The Bible was her source of comfort. Stories of Daniel, in the beginning Noah and Esther's journeys, Carrie asked questions and prayed in such a way, there is no denying who her God is. She and her family cherished their prayer moments with God.

She leaves to mourn; Children, Christopher/Sabrina, Jason/Andrea and Balinda/Curtis(deceased). Grandchildren, Tyshon/Quanna, Jasmine, Djavan DJ, Jaelson Ja, Keondre (deceased), Kerron, Tanaysha, Danaysha. Greatgrandchildren, Aries, Arieyion, Arieyana,Tyshon, Lillie, Legend, Nyla, Tyier, Hope and Sophia. Aunt Emily, and Aunt Sister, Uncles together with a host Cousins or nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation for Carrie will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Witzke Funeral Homes Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, MD 21045. A committal service will occur Monday, August 1, 2022 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at Arbutus Memorial Park, 1101 Sulphur Spring Road, Baltimore, MD 21227. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, MD 21045
